Plug hunting: the how, where, what, when, why

Where: Between Flaris/Darkon1
How: Kill Rockpellars
Why: Rockpellars drop plug+4 worth around 20m in Glaphan
When: Rockpellars are level 51
What: Err..what?

I can't say I'm experienced in plug hunting, which means this is more of a thread asking for input so I can complie information into a better guide for plug hunting. I'm not sure how droprates are like, but I'm sure most of us get better drop rates when our levels are closer to the mobs.

Currently I have a level 47 psy build magician with stats
Str: 15
Sta: 25
Dex: 15
Int: *

What I can say is, this build does a constant damage of 460 with a level47 zerem wand. The wand allows homing attacks, but I find it kind of useless since the mob doesn't really fly around as people say it does. And I kill so much slower than a buffed up assist. But I wouldn't recommend an assist though.. at that level you will have to keep flying down to rebuff. For some reason, at 15 dex, I don't really miss much.

I'm planning to build a full str merc to try this out.
Str: *
Sta: 15
Dex: 15
Int: 15

I already have the full 45set [20%aspd] + Soss [10%aspd/hitrate] ready for it.

So any of you have experience at plug hunting, care to share it? What have you used as a plug hunter and is it really fast? I would say this is one fast way to get rich if you have the patience and the luck.

I myself Plug Hunt between Rhisis and Saint Mornings. Killing Flybeigens. They are easy to kill and drops Plugs +3 and Demols +3.

When I'm lvl 38, 30mins of fly killing got me 6 Demols +3 and 1 Plugs +3.

It's always better to hunt for items while your level is not as high as the mob.

Ps: You know, I can understand why Akimoto wants us to register with our IGNs now. Should I make a new one? Anyway, it's not so much of a guide than a place to compile information so it will be useful to us in the future :p.
